I’ve staged each of the four homes I’ve owned—and every one sold quickly. It all started with my very first home, a charming 1940 Cape Cod on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. I lived there for eight years and, when it came time to sell, I rolled up my sleeves and transformed it. I decluttered, refreshed walls with paint and wallpaper, updated the kitchen flooring, and carefully staged each room to speak to potential buyers. I made it feel like a house for sale, not my house for sale—and it worked.

Since then, I’ve owned and sold three more homes, each time building on what I learned from that first experience. I refined my eye, sharpened my techniques, and consistently sold each home quickly. I also began advising friends and clients, especially during the pandemic, helping them prep their homes for sale with the same thoughtful approach.
